WHY IS BAMBOO BETTER?

There are tonnes of reasons why bamboo fibres are great for clothing. Seeing is believing but until you’ve tried some of our 100% bamboo, British made products, here is some more information for you

For You and Baby

HYPOALLERGENIC

Bamboo fabric is relatively unlikely to cause a reaction which is fantastic because baby’s newborn skin is so sensitive. It’s perfect for mums too, particularly those with all allergy prone skin

THERMOREGULATING

Bamboo fabric provides comfort in all temperatures. It is breathable and keeps you cooler in summer and warmer in winter

ANTIBACTERIAL

Bacteria does not live well in bamboo fabric. It therefore keeps you odour free, smelling and feeling fresher for longer

KIND TO SKIN

It’s antistatic and sits beautifully next to your skin. We always strive to make women feel as comfortable as possible whilst breastfeeding, which is why chose this fabric for our nursing wear and blankets. We want mothers and babies to enjoy its wonderful feel

SUPER SOFT

Soft as a baby’s bottom? This really is! Bamboo is one of the softest fabrics in the world, you’ll love the way it feels on yours and baby’s skin. Bamboo is to cotton what cashmere is to wool- a softer and more luxury feel

ABSORBENT

Bamboo fabric absorbs moisture from the skin for evaporation, keeping you dry and comfortable. This is why we use 100% bamboo in our nursing wear in case of any leakage and also for our bamboo blankets in case of dribbling, reflux and/or milk possets

For The Planet

BIODEGRADABLE

We use 100% bamboo fabric = 100% biodegradable

HIGHER YIELD

Bamboo yields the same volume as cotton but from just 10% of the land area

GROWS QUICKLY

Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, so yields more frequently from the same plot

GROWS NATURALLY

Bamboo thrives naturally without the use of fertilisers or pesticides

NEEDS LESS WATER

Bamboo only needs rainwater to grow. Very little, if any, additional watering is required

SOIL SUSTAINABILITY

Since it’s a grass, bamboo is cut rather than uprooted, which is great for the soil. It can also grow easily on slopes not viable for other crops
